"I finally know that I am home when I eat at Lon Men. Okay, let me explain. As a Hong Kong-born​ Chinese who traveled​ since I was a baby, I am always on the search for a little bit of home- Heimat. And, I come from a family of very picky Chinese foodies. And furthermore, I'm married to a Munich man who is a super picky foodie and a Chinese food expert. So it is hard to please us. So let's jump right to it. The food? Yes,​ they have very good Food with their normal menu. The Crispy Duck - Lon Men art, Glass Nudel Salad, and the Spring roll are excellent to name a few. But... I speak of their AMAZING SECRET MENU. Yes, they have a secret menu, co-created by Frau Liang and Me and executed by master Hong Kong Chef Lung. He was hired nearly 2 years ago to help upgrade the quality of their food. And he definitely has achieved that. I brought many family and friends, who are no strangers to authentic Chinese food, to test out their Secret Menu, with an occasional​ mix of their standard menu. The result was everyone wanted more and wanted to return for more. It's the real deal folks (and NO MSG)!​ It's so good I come here every week or so just to eat and feel like I'm back in Hong Kong when I am in town (Munich is my second home). The only thing is you have to CALL 2-3 DAYS in advance so they can buy the ingredients fresh which is normally not on their grocery list. So please call Frau Liang and she can tell you the dishes on the Secret Menu. There's a crowd​ pleaser in every category. I have posted pictures of just some of the Secret Menu dishes. Lastly, the service is excellent. Frau Liang and Martin are personable and hospitable."
